Win98 + DSJ2.0 + gravity and wind editor

Post by pajkul »

Quite a nice combination, don't you think?

Especially impressive when it comes to the hill records.

Wind: 9m/s
Gravity: 0,7 m/s^2 instead of standard 9,81 m/s^2

England K50 - 255 meters
Belgium K95 - 355 meters
...
Latvia K165 - 473 meters!

I can't jump that long even in Australia K240 (HR: 465 i think).

I can post a photo if you want later.
Posting a rpl file of the record jump is actually pointless, as getting such a strong wind even in the replay requires using the editor, which works only on Windows 98.

A simple gravity editor is enough. Set big gravity, ride down the inrun, closing to the end, pause game, set gravity to low, and fly high with great speed. You can even exceed the border of gameplay. ^^

Too lazy, haha. Maybe in future. :)
I don't know also how I would record it. I doubt in HyperCam, phone to monitor?

My worry about HyperCam concerns Win98 platform. The program may work on XP+

If I continue my idea with system virtualisation, you will be able to record a window of virtualised Windows 98 by any software.

Where can I get those Wind and Gravitiy editors? :)

I'm really interested to set some personal records and blow away my friends ;)

Thanks in advance!
