Which computer do you guys have?

Post by jurijtepes »

Hi there,
I'm just asking what set-up you guys have, as my old laptop lags when I play the mammoth hills. I have an i3 and only integrated graphics, so what do you have and what fps do you achieve?

My System Specifications:

CPU Type: Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz
CPU Speed: 3.43 GHz
System Memory: 16.00GB @ 1333 MHz DDR3
Video Card Model: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560
Video Card Memory: 4.26 GB
Video Card Driver: nvd3dum.dll
Primary Display Resolution: 1920x1200

With maximum graphics settings this setup runs steadily 400fps in menus and 150-200fps while jumping.

That's gotta hurt.

The frame rate is capped to about 200 fps, so you shouldn't even be able to get more.

I believe the cap is active only while jumping, right?

Oh, ok . Anyway, i'm building a new gaming-oriented PC anyway,
CPU: Intel i5 4670K
GPU: nVidia GTX 760
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill

So I think I'll be fine with this set-up.

CPU Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4820K CPU @ 3.70GHz
16 GB Ram(4x4)
nvidia GTX 770

Maybe a little bit to much, but it will be good enough for the next years.

Greetings
