New Hills

Post by sunset_rider »

@Jussi, all: Yesterdays chat said that the coming DSJ update will contain 8 new hills.
I just wanted to ask when this is going to be released?

(Can't wait any more!) :)

Yeah, and as Jussi told that the countries of the new hills will be the ones, where at least one ski jumping hill is located, we may reduce the list to ten countries, according to http://www.skispungschanzen.com:

Serbia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, Montenegro, Turkey, Argentina, Liechtenstein, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia and Iceland.

The last three seem to be the top candidates, as they've been in dsj2 :)

I already know the countries for the new hills because Jussi asked for a translation but I'll be nasty and I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU YET :) :) :)

Just a hint: all 8 hills are countries that Ralph named in a post above :)

You're nasty, Vid :) Now the whole DSJ-community will search for your address to show you how "thankful" they are :)

Just kidding :) At least my research wasn't a waste of time, as I've chosen good countries :)

PS. I think that one Balcan country won't be included. Quite probably it'll be Montenegro. The second "luckless chap" will come from this group: ARG, GEO, TUR.

something which will really change the game or just bug fixing?

New hills, that's way good enough for a new version 8) :D

In addition to a few bug fixes we could of course do with a couple of BUGGER fixes, if you cath my drift haha  (sorry for my bad taste humour) but I guess we'll manage as usual. At least for some weeks we can compete with the cheaters...

Well you are pretty optimistic if you think you can compete with SP and JJ.
It seems to me that they can do whatever they want...
I just hope that the other player who cheats stay away from the new version.
And YEAH you know who you are....

ps: I have not seen them online for a very long time, and I hope it will stay that way.

So, Jussi, one surprise, the countries of the new hills, is no longer a surprise, as we have chosen a good group of countries.

The next point is the size of the hills. What about a few more information on this issue? :)

The hill sizes will vary quite evenly between HS69 and HS275.
