Re: Winter time and games Jussi
RTL had some good games. The 2008 version for PS2 in particular featured great gameplay. Something happened to them though - the quality of their games just started to go downhill really fast after that. The market for these kind of games is not that big due to winter sports not being worldwide.
Re: DSJ 2.1 P
Hello Jussi, as someone who is trying to learn more about programming - How much did it take for you to "Finish" or be satisfied with the wanted results with DSJ2? And could you also share some insight on the Turbo Pascal, was it convenient language to build this game in or would you have ...

Re: Harrachov HS205 screenshot
Very challenging hill, difficulty close to Bischoshofen, feels very realistic and the Judge / TV view F7 is very similar to what they show on actual broadcasts. Incredible job Jussi waiting anxiously for new hills!

Re: Wind Points
It would require every jumper to jump individually then, no? Because it doesnt really make sense if there are different conditions for jumpers who jump simultaneously.

Re: Ahonen returns (!!!)
Quality of jumpers is not bad at all at this moment, Koivuranta, Happonen, Larinto (pre-injury) and in future Asikainen is a really good base to go from, unfortunately they are mostly made of glass so we have to wait for them to have a healthy season.

Re: Ahonen returns (!!!)
As much as Finnish ski jumping needs help i dont think a comeback is the best thing to do by Janne. The guy is past his prime for quite some time now, his last comeback ended in not being able to crack into 2nd round. If he was main coach or something it would be much better for the whole team. No d...

Re: Windowed mode for DSJ4?
Maybe borderless windowed mode is possible then? Its basically playing as full screen and it eliminates the possibility of disabling mouse functioning in-game. League of legends uses this and is very good for people who like to stream their gameplay live as it fixes few problems which come with the ...

Windowed mode for DSJ4?
Hello Jussi! I have googled this topic every once in a while and you did say there was no windowed mode available (3.5 years ago in this thread http://www.mediamond.fi/forum/viewtopic.php?t=887) Are there any changes? It is not vital but it could be quite useful for people who prefer to run programs...

Re: What happend with Lars Bystoel?
He had some problems outside of skijumping such as alcohol abuse which ultimately led him to retire (2009) after being kicked out of the national team for the second time.

Re: Venues
I like Oslo the most, both versions of it actually. Very challenging hill and the competition is very even there each year. The curved layout is one of my favorites too!

Re: Teams
I think Norway will get pretty even this season with Austria, their prospects are looking quite good and coaching seems to have found the way to get good results. Unfortunately for Finland they will keep losing their stock even further, the retirement of Ahonen and Hautamaeki really has had a negati...

Re: DSJ vs RTL SKI JUMPING
RTL was really good once upon time especially if your friends came over to visit you. We used to play their Winter sports game (Ski jump included) alot, its an idiot-proof game which attacts the casuals. But now their products dont have any gameplay, just eye candy.
