Great Tool. Nothing more to say. Reccomended Feature: Compare Total lenghts with other players and make rankings... Compare to the total lenght of Hillsize and the national records is somewhat useless  I agree. I don't actually use the total length comparison graphs at all :) I use the tool m...

Hi, Bjørn! I've just wanted to look at new version of your tool. So, I've downloaded it, and... I can't open it, because you are using Excel 2007 or higher, so you save in xlsm file, and I'm using Excel 97, which can't open this file. Could you save this file in xls file, please? -Promaster. An .xl...

Thanks for the input promaster! I've tried both F1 and F2 now, and I think both have its advantages and disadvantages. What I like about F2 is that it's easier to see how far the jumper is from the ground, and the angle he has to his skis. With F1 it's easier to time the take-offs, but I find it muc...

Björn, I can update TWR list. It's my brother's site and I and he can upload it always when we just remember :) edit: now should be updated. Thank you! I've added a function that automatically updates the TWRs. The function checks the TWR list on your site, and copies them to the sheet. I'll probab...

Do you know where to find an updated TWR list? I just included the first one I found. Of course, you can change the true world records to your own liking if you choose to download the file :)

Thank you !!! This tool is excelent !!! If you plan a update of this excel sheet: It is possible to get in the natinal records. For me the WR are not realy a target - at the fist step I plan to get a good national ranking :o) ... No problem, I've now included a function that imports the national re...

You can now download the file from here: http://uploading.com/files/7cb498fa/DSJ3%2Bpersonal%2Bscore%2Bsheet.xlsm/ I've made it easier to import your scores. The only thing you need to do is go to http://www.mediamond.fi/dsj3/personalhillrecords , type in your name, and copy the link you get in the ...

Interesting! I've only tried F1 one time. Maybe I should give it a shot and see how it compares.

I think you're right, I feel that switching views disturbs my focus. I guess I'll only be using F2 from now on. F3 is only an option for the take-off, and is useless (for me) in the air. F2 it is! :)

Preferred camera view while taking-off and in the air

Hi! I wonder what your thoughts are on the best camera view. I can't decide whether to use the F3-view (behind the ski jumper) during take-off, or the F2-view (classic side view). I feel that it's easier to time the jumping with the F3-view, but harder to quickly get into a right flying position wit...

Hi again! Just wanted to let you know that I've updated the Excel sheet: It now includes an import function. If you copy your scores from http://www.mediamond.fi/dsj3/personalhillrecords into the sheet, a macro will import your data correctly, including your PB, your national and world ranking for t...

Excel: Track PBs & compare to WRs (w/ import function)

EDIT: Updated March 7, 2010 The latest version can be found here . (Use this link if your Excel version is older than 2007. There may be some loss of functionality, since it had to be converted to an older file format.) WHAT DOES IT DO? Imports - your personal best (PB) records (Mediamond web site)...
