Re: Personal records don't get saved after download (Windows
omg, only after your reply I came to think of trying to start DSJ3 in compatibility mode. So I tried compatability for Windows 7, download my personal records - and this time they got saved! I even re-started the game to see if they're still saved - and they are! Might work with other compatability ...

Personal records don't get saved after download (Windows 10)
I've rediscovered DSJ3 for myself, but when I download my old records, they only show once and then disappear. They don't get saved. Basically 2 questions in that regard: #1 If I happen to get a new personal record on any hill and decided to upload it, would the game also upload all my other current...

YES! YES! YES!Jussi Koskela wrote:I will most likely release v1.2 immediately after finishing the CPU players meaning there won't be new hills in it.

The CPU players will come with two new hills for me anyway since I didn't bother installing the two new hills so far

Re: The second new hill will be...
Okay, let's get rid of all trees. The world doesn't need them! But my basic point still stands. The surroundings of the jumping hills all "feel" the same. One screenshot looks like the other. There's definitely room for variety there (and why do all the houses all around the glob...

Re: The second new hill will be...
Why don't I get excited? Hmmm .. maybe because this screen looks like any other jumping hill? The thing is: The surrounding area is ALWAYS the same! So Jussi, if you really want to have some visual variety, you should work more on the environment of the jumping hill, mainly the area around the inrun...

Re: Landing difficulty
More precisely: TWO-FOOT landing should be "option 3" in this poll here. Telemark landing is just fine, but the difference between telemark and two-foot landing needs to be bigger. It's too unrealistic atm, because two-foot landing is almost as hard as telemark landing. If that was the cas...

Re: Landing [Guide]
The ski jumper must also have enough time to get into upright position. Of course, and that's what's good about the new landing system in the game. However, here comes the but: Starting the landing procedure too early would have a negative effect on the chance of standing the jump - in reality! Tha...

Re: Landing [Guide]
Metsi, you missed the point: I was comparing the game to reality. That's why I mentioned those 4 jumps of real jumpers. When you say, it doesn't matter about the flying curve, then this would clearly be a slap in the face of what DSJ is all about: Being a REALISTIC ski jumping game. The landing phys...

Re: Landing [Guide]
About Kulm: It seems that many players have particular difficulties landing here. Some have suggested lower starting gates. But since gate 2 is used in good wind conditions, we can't get much lower. Could it be that the actual speed relative to gate number is set a bit to high, and should be reduce...

Re: @Stepan Pfleger
For the record: Online is where everyone can prove actual skill. I've done so in DSJ3 and was more than pleased to usually be top 20 in the competitions or even top 10. No Jaluvka or Pfleger have ever been in front of me. So as far as I'm concerned, I totally own Jaluvka and Pfleger - and so does ev...
