In my opinion the slow version will be boring after serveral off-line tournaments made. Just can't imagine when playing a, for example, 75-players tournament and watching all those CPU opponents jumps. OK, OK, maybe for the first, second time just to see how it looks like. But what later, what after ...

I like playing with more players. Thus, A and B is just fine.

OK, but what is the difference when playing with 80 or 170 players, while only 50 can go through Q ?
Of course 50 on each tournament is not enough ...
