"Oslo HS 105", I guess that's Midtstubakken. Nice hill. It actually has HS 106. Check out that tower design, I'd love to see that in dsj

Re: Jussi, give us the option to turn the chat OFF, PLEASE
Just simple option - "CHAT ON/OFF" I would like this. But then it has to show somehow if you have chosen to turn off the chat. Otherwice people will start feeling insulted when you don't anwer them. (I've seen attempts to kick someone just for not saying "thx" when their name is...

Re: Alternate weekly tournaments for pro and amateur players
Any comments how the A/B split worked? At least I enjoyed jumping in Tournament B a lot. Some players were already suggesting that we should have tournaments in three different levels. I joined the WOT for the first time today. There were about 30-40 players in B and 80-90 in A as I remember it. Wi...

@Jussi: Is this idea on the "to do list", or the "maybe list" or in the dust bin?

And anyway, almost everyone is cheating with slowmotion or cheat engine so no problems! Jussi you know that Most common argument in defence of cheating: everybody else does it, so then it is ok. First of all, it is not true that almost everybody else does it. The majority does not. Secondly, the fa...

My bad, I just didn't notice the select player function in training. Ok, I see the advantage. (Still, it is easy to forget to reset if one experiments with sensivity in training).Jussi Koskela wrote:You can select the player account which it affects at the top of the practice settings screen. Re: Bugs in the DSJ 4 v1.0.0 - Post your bugs here
I have two registered players in my game. When I change sensivity in training mode, this also automatically changes the personal sensivity for one of the players, namely the one that the game is registered to.

Re: TOURNAMENT B FOR POOR JUMPERS? I DON'T THINK SO
Hi, i thought that tournament B is for jumpers who have no chance for good place in A tournament. But no, there is several jumpers with rating over 1300 sometimes with over 1500, for example: Zbigniew Smolarek, POL Online Rating: 1168 Peak Online Rating: 1533 he had yesterday evening rating over 15...

Re: Splitting up the Online and the Offline Records
I made a poll on this in DSJ3: http://www.mediamond.fi/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=695 The vast majority voted yes then. Even Jussi said "This could be a nice addition", here: http://www.mediamond.fi/forum/viewtopic.php?t=688 I'd say the same arguments are still valid, online and offline...

I can't evaluate the mathematics. But I do recognize the problems you describe with the current system, and a solution/improvement would be great. I think your suggestion is definitely interesting and should be seriously concidered!

Re: Updates
but why don't you just make only online jumps count towards world record rankings? Why does offline jumps have to count in the first place? I support this idea. Actually I have proposed allready in dsj3 to completely separate on- and offline, as I see them as simply two different games. (And I like...

Re: Landing [Guide]
About Kulm: It seems that many players have particular difficulties landing here. Some have suggested lower starting gates. But since gate 2 is used in good wind conditions, we can't get much lower. Could it be that the actual speed relative to gate number is set a bit to high, and should be reduced?
