Sounds fans in DSJ4
Sounds fans in DSJ4
Hello!
I do not know if anyone gave this idea, but by the sounds of fans to the game became more fun to play . Much better would have jumped at the competitions, we would have the motivation xD. However, during the training was not to have the sound of the fans.
Sorry for my bad English

Re: Sounds fans in DSJ4
Where would I get these sound effects from?
Once I tried to do some recordings in Lahti but it didn't work out as there was always music playing or announcer speaking.

I think.. this is because you trying record sounds during FIS competition (guesses). Maybe other winter sport, like? (Cross-country skiing, Alpine skiing etc.) can be usefulJussi Koskela wrote:Where would I get these sound effects from?

I can't just rip sound effects. That's illegal.

Try this: http://www.freesound.org/
By the way, in the video posted above, there's a trumpet sound. After 1000th play, it would be psychoactive

As said earlier I can't use other people's recordings without a commercial license.lukicabukica wrote:ERM... You can get PERFECT fan sounds from here:

@Jussi
If it comes to sounds during training sessions, you could just record a random, barely crowded place (playground, park, small festival etc.) just to get a few noises during the whole recording session.
Recording competition sounds is much harder though. It would have to be a real competition sounds witch cheering etc. and that always comes with music and more interrupting noises. So you would really have to browse through some sample packs to get those probably.
Anyway, i don't think this is an important issue

This gets quickly annoying, I am afraid. After a while you know every detail of all the loops. FIFA is an example.
