@ Mario

You could just take the interval from flight to landing and increase the speed of the jumpers movements if it's a longer way the jumper has to go...

In reality the different jumpers don't need longer for the landing although there are different flying style...

Something is wrong with both flying hills. The jumper is very high before landing when the gate is high and/or the wind is strong at 180 degrees. And the jumper then starts flipping back or simply falls because a player has to land being still too high. Very often in aforementioned conditions even if position is good before landing, there is no chance of landing without falling. No idea how people land over 230m...
DSJ3 Personal best: 314.0m (Slovenia)
DSJ4 Personal best: 196.5m (Planica) (what a great jump that was!...)

It's not a bug, it's the *first* version of the game.

Any hints, guys, for landing at Kulm?

I stopped counting failed +218 jumps.

These are the three most frustrating, including one possible WR.

What am I doing wrong?

I can't help you because I can't land anything over HS either on Bad Mitterdorf hill. :x

Different tack. Why are there only 8 hills? why is it hard to create hills for DSJ4? Is it because of working on details so the hills resemble the real ones? Or is it the implemented physics?

First reason is the correct one. It takes about 5 days to create one hill.

So, why you working 8 months to make 8 hills ?? If really is takes about 5 days, in DSJ 4 1.0.1 should be about 30 Hills.

Yeah, but it was the same with Italy in DSJ 2.1, and it was part of the fun :)

So I like it the way it is!

The BM is definitely flying too far. A lot of players exceeds the actual record (215.5 m), and nobody Planica.

The hill is fun because of that  The RL record in Planica is propably the longest jump we'll ever see from that hill before the next enlargement, but in Kulm Nagiller showed years ago its possible to fly longer (and almost landed!).
