Post subject:  Too long expectancy for other jumping

Jussi quick question . Is any chance to change timmer betwen jump's ?

My offer is reduce the time with 10 seconds to 5 seconds. Someone who wants to play will be satisfied :wink:

Substantiation:

At this moment we have not option kick player from the game. Very often players join to server that may troll. We can't do nothing and we have to wait for them . One 24 hill take us maximum time which predicts the set time between jumps. I suggest to shorten it by half on No Rating , and Ski Fly , and in competitions leave it unchanged. I do not know if it's possible , if u can't change timmer in every 'room' we will do the topic with voting to shorten the waiting time everywhere.

Give us answer thanks

Ok, I reduced the waiting times to 5 seconds on World Cup, Warm-up and Ski Flying Cup servers. We can still do further adjustments if the timings don't feel good.

The current settings are:
Code:
timeout_waitplayers = 10
timeout_showstartlist = 5
timeout_jump = 40
timeout_showcompetitionstats = 5
timeout_showcompetitionresults = 5
timeout_showcupstats = 5
timeout_showcupresults = 10

Surely the timings on Team Cup should be also reduced. I dont remember exact settings, but e.g waiting 15s between jumps is far too long.

I left the weekly / monthly tournaments to 10 seconds on purpose, so that there is more time to check the results. We can tune all the timings if necessary.
