Can't play no longer after the patch 1.1

Hello there.
After installing the new patch, 1.1, I'm no longer able to play in any mode. While loading the hill, game crashes with "Invalid file ~\Documents\Deluxe Ski Jump 4\Players\Krzysztof Wielgołaski.plr".
It looks just like the Ski Jumper file error that some people here got several weeks before, as far as i remember it was caused by polish diacritical letter "ł" in the name (or several other letters), so it may caused the error for me too. Too bad it's about the "Player" file so I'm totally unable to play. I've already tried to reinstall the game. Also, I'm using Windows 8 CP, but it shouldn't make a difference. Any ideas how to fix this?

EDIT: Oh, yeah, I just created new player file and it works fine, so I'm able to play in singleplayer at least But still I can't play on my key.
