Length of jumps in Bad Mitterndorf

Well, it doesn't feel realistic, but I still don't know if I want it to change (simply because I feel it's a classic DSJ hill). I do agree however that it's pretty scary in online when you get 2m/s winds... I haven't recordhunted there for a year, so maybe I just don't quite remember that frustration of falling jumps past my PB anymore. Landing those 221+ jumps is total luck though, no other hills let's you jump that much too far.

In Beta-2 there was sometimes 220+ jumps with telemark. So far my longest jump there was about 216 meters but from gate 7...

Yes, Nagiller could stand about 220 easy, but his length was because he get great wind from quite high startgate (but maximal speed was less than 99 km/h ). But Schlierenzauer in his record jump had some problems with landing but he luckily stand.
You feel, now jumps in this hill in DSJ4 are a bit too high. With bit lower trajectory landing would be bit easier to landing, but not as long as top 30-40 jumps on world lists. The small problem is speed too, reducing it would help land it but it will reduce length.

Georg, you see, chances for land 222 meters are higher if you flight lower. I was jumping some days ago there in training mode and I had about 5 jumps 222+ but i landed only one - 222.01... And of course I lowered a bit flight trajectory and did before landing much more passive flight.

This isn't realistic lenght this hill, but she have its magic, is one of the first hill in DSJ4 and has its own charm. Very high flight and friendly for weak players. landing is hard with telemark but two leg is easy to 220 m, realistic is similarly on every mammoth.
In online some people have good luck or bad luck and can fight more people of good positions, including weaker players.
Simply next hill in future should have better profile to easier landed and just enough.

We must wait for new Kulm, which will be rebuild to HS225. Now we shouldnt change anything there

I totally agree with you; I have two over 224 jumps. One was 224.03 and the second was 224.31... I did everything perfect: flat and smooth takeoff, low flight, my speed decreased before landing, it could be even 225 if I didn't tried to land it succesfully, but of course desire to have new amazing WR was too big... It is really annoying when you jump like that or even 223 twenty times without success... Although I love this hill, beacuse it is really plaesureful to jump here in online, excepting jumping from lower gates...
