But you can always hit alt+f4 after missed take off.
But game could save each jump two times: first when jumper sits on bench with 0pts for jump, and then overwrite if you do the jump. If you exit game, or crash or whatever, there be no possibility to jump again, and you will be DSQ with 0pts.

That would be rather silly.. So if your game actually crashes you wont be able to jump again? Sorry but that's just wrong if you ask me.

Aren't we talking about PRIVATE / LOCAL World Cup competitions here and not online? Why would it matter if some low-life people wanted to "cheat" during their own local games in the first place? It's not the end of the world allowing people to trick the game during their own local games as online gaming is the only way to set valid hill records, world records and getting better scores and rating.

Not allowing in-game saving just because it might allow someone to trick the game while playing their own private / local world cups doesn't make much sense at all. They bought the game, their playing on their own and whatever they decide to do does not affect anyone else so why would this be a problem in the first place? It's like all the wind hacking going on right now in pratice mode.. Does it really matter as their lenghts are not going to be a part of any official and valid list? Let people do whatever they want offline on their local computers, it's whats going on online we should care about, you should never limit the capabilities of the game based on what people might and might not do in their private offline games. That slike crippling the experience for honest players because of what some low-lifes might do on their own computer and that would be silly if you ask me.

Good idea, but I seriously doubt if anyone would do it and lost lots of time when there are 500 jumpers in the competition. One that's lost doesn't change anything.

True. It doesn't even cheating as long as there is only one person jumping. If there are more, they're keeping fair play with their fists.

No, it's not. Wind hacks left fair players' distances far behind. Possibility to repeat jump crashing and loading the game again not. Additionaly it puts player out of required concentration. I strongly doubt if anyone would decide to do it when possible.
